About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Agriculture Teacher to deliver high-quality vocational education and training across diverse learning environments. You will plan, deliver, assess, and continuously improve programs that prepare students for careers in agriculture. This role involves designing inclusive curriculum, maintaining industry engagement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, teach, and assess learning activities that meet diverse learner needs
- Create and adapt teaching and assessment materials aligned with industry standards
- Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Engage with industry networks to ensure vocational currency
- Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
- Mentor and support entry-level teachers and contribute to curriculum development
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant vocational qualifications and recent industry experience in agriculture
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of learner-centred teaching principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High-level ICT skills for e-learning and reporting
- Knowledge of compliance requirements including AQTF and RTO Standards
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required toprovide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
